Colourblind were engaged to Production Manage Sun Cycle’s 2021 edition at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl from our friends at WAT. Designing a fully sustainable set element that played to Sun Cycles brand image the ‘Sun’ was a fantastic 12m x 6m element that took over the stage and gave many opportunities for an interesting and dynamic lighting design. With the design revolving around the Sun Colourblind added in three 25watt lasers and adjusted the floor package to create a new look for the Bowls summer series. With set’s from CC:DISCO!, C.FRIM, Izy, Mildlife, Sophie McAlister with Chris Gill (Northside Records), Wax’o Paradiso and a special Welcome To Country the day evolved into one of the biggest parties to grace the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
